This is a simple reminder guide.
You do not need to read everything at once.
You cannot break your phone by sending a photo.
What You Need
- A smartphone that is turned on
- WhatsApp already installed
- A photo already on your phone or a camera on your phone
- Someone to send the photo to
Step 1: Open WhatsApp
- Look for the green WhatsApp icon
- Tap it once
- WhatsApp will open

Step 2: Open the Conversation
- Tap the name of the person you want to send the photo to
- The conversation will open

Step 3: Tap the Attachment or Camera Icon
- Look near the message box at the bottom
- Tap the attachment icon or camera icon
This gives you options for choosing a photo.

Step 4: Choose a Photo
You can:
- Choose a photo already on your phone
or - Take a new photo using the camera
Tap the photo you want to send.
Nothing is sent yet.
Step 5: Send the Photo
- When you are ready, tap the send button
- The photo will be sent
That’s it.

Can I send the wrong photo by mistake?
You can see the photo before sending it.
Nothing is sent until you tap the send button.
What if the photo doesn’t send straight away?
This is usually because:
- The internet connection is slow
- Wi-Fi or mobile data is weak
You can wait or try again later. Nothing is broken.
Can I send more than one photo?
Yes.
You can select more than one photo before sending.
Will the other person know if I stop?
No.
If you change your mind, you can close WhatsApp without sending anything.
